OVERVIEW
I am a big fan of geometric shapes, flat designs and colors. I wanted to take on this challenge to see if I could use these simple elements to create a video that shows my audience who I am and the different facets of me.
This is a quick storyboard that shows the transitions of my name. I thought the glitch effect showcased my playful and dynamic personality a lot, so I used that in all three videos.
The first one is called Type, where I used typography and thin lines as the main subject matters. Paired with classical music, I hoped to communicate the delicate yet persistent side of me.
In Shapes, I used triangles to symbolize myself, using personified movements and sounds to portray the fun and humerous side of me.
In this last one I used lines and the weaving effect to communicate my intricacy both as a person and as a designer.
In this project I not only got to make three short animated videos, I also got to work on my personal branding and logo. It was a challenge for me to be able to translate who I am as a person through very simple geometric shapes and sounds.
